BSE India website to become unavailable from today evening. Check details

BSE maintenance: The official website of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) is going to become unavailable from today evening. As per the information available on the BSE website — bseindia.com, the BSE India website will not be working from 17th June, evening 9:00 PM to 18th June, morning 9:00 AM. So, the website will remain unavailable for twelve hours from today 9:00 PM to tomorrow 9:00 AM. The BSE has said that website will undergo maintenance and hence the portal will remain unavailable during this period.

Informing about the non-availability of the website for maintenance, the BSE said, “Website will not be available from 17th June 2023 21:00 hrs to 18th June 2023 09:00 hrs due to maintenance activity.”

Hence, in case of any urgent filing or other emergency, one can communicate with the BSE through email — corp.relations@bseindia.com. Please note that the email filings would be accepted for emergencies only and that too during the above mentioned period only. Any filing done before or after the period mentioned above, should be done through the Listing Centre only.

Earlier, the BSE website had went through maintenance on 6th May 2023 from 5:00 AM to 8:00 AM. During this period on 6th May 2023, BSE Listing Centre had gone through maintenance and hence the BSE website was made unavailable for users during these three hours.

Non-availability of the BSE website from today evening (21 hours) to tomorrow morning (9 hours) won’t have much impact on the users as the maintenance is taking place during the week off days. Trading activities remain suspended on Saturday and Sunday at Dalal Street. On Friday, global stocks were headed for the best week in more than 9 weeks after a series of Central Bank decisions, lifted by bets that the Federal Reserve will soon end its tightening cycle and China will introduce fresh stimulus measures.

This positive global cue had a positive impact on Indian stock market as all three key benchmark indices ended in green territory. NSE Nifty and BSE Sensex came close to their respective all-time highs. In fact, both indices ended at their highest closing as NSE Nifty closed at record high of 18,826 levels, logging intraday gain of 137 points. BSE Sensex closed at life-time high of 63,384, clocking intraday gain of 466 points. Bank Nifty finished 494 points higher at 43,938 levels.
